History
The history of the Folsom Boulevard Flea Market dates back to the 1950s when George Jensen owned the land. Initially used as a hops drying facility, Jensen decided to invite the community to sell unwanted items, charging $3 for space and allowing community members to camp overnight for early setup. The land was later sold to Emil Magovac, Sr., and Charles Maroosis, who expanded the market by introducing individual merchant stalls, a reservation system, and on-site product storage. With over 60 years in operation, the market has become a community and family tradition, something the owners are extremely proud of.
